As an adult, so much is required when finding employment.
We take a customer-centered approach to education and training by combining adult basic education, occupational skills training, and personalized career and academic advising. Our goal is to help individuals prepare for, secure, and grow within a meaningful career. We also offer counseling and supportive services to help each person reach their personal and professional goals.

For ages 18 and above, our Adult Workforce Program offers:
Workforce Readiness Training – During this training, participants learn effective job search strategies and develop a personalized approach to finding employment based on their education, skills, and individual needs. They work to overcome barriers to employment, build essential job skills, and create a career pathway plan that outlines job roles, salary expectations, and the training needed to grow within the environmental industry.
- As part of the program, participants can earn industry-recognized credentials aligned with high-demand fields such as construction, environmental services, information technology (IT), logistics, and hospitality—equipping them with the qualifications needed to enter and advance in these industries.
Job Placement Assistance – Our Employment Specialist builds strong partnerships with employers across various industries to connect graduates with meaningful job opportunities. Many businesses actively seek out our trained participants to fill roles that match their skills and career goals. When funding is available, we also offer paid internships, giving participants valuable hands-on experience in their chosen field. In addition, the Employment Specialist works one-on-one with job seekers to assess their strengths, enhance their resumes, and coordinate interviews—helping to streamline the hiring process and support long-term success.
Career Exploration – This course supports adults in taking the next step after program completion by exploring options such as post-secondary education, trade school, or starting a business. Participants engage in career planning using S.M.A.R.T. goals, assess earning potential across different pathways, and strengthen skills in self-presentation, interpersonal communication, and professional development. The course also includes guidance on applying to schools or training programs, as well as an introduction to entrepreneurship for those interested in launching their own business.
